You can earn up to 100 points per day from steps, heart rate, and speed. You can also earn 5 points per day for sleep if you sleep at least 7 hours, tracked via Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, Samsung Gear, or Samsung Watch.
Follow these steps:
Log in to the AIA+ app
Go to Profile > Health Apps > Add Device
Follow the instructions until completed
Apple Health shows combined steps from all connected devices (phone + watch). To view details by device, go to Steps > Show All Data > Select Date.
We recommend checking steps in your watch’s app (e.g., Apple Fitness). AIA Vitality receives data separately and awards points based on the highest-scoring activity.
Samsung Health combines steps from all connected devices (phone + watch). To view details, go to Steps > More > Data Sources.
Older Samsung Watch and Gear models may not separate data from the phone, causing inflated totals. AIA+ receives data separately and awards points based on the highest-scoring activity.
Try these steps:
1. Check your health device and ensure it syncs with its app. If data isn’t updated in the app, AIA Vitality won’t receive it.
2. Update your app and phone to the latest version.
3. Disconnect and reconnect your device in AIA+.
Select your device and disconnect it from AIA Vitality.
Reconnect the device. It will show updated data.
4. Wait up to 24 hours for data to sync. Contact us if data doesn’t appear after 24 hours.
5. Update your health data manually if needed.
6. Check your phone settings to ensure you’ve granted permission for AIA Vitality to access your health data.
