Important Announcement: Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness Benefit Update

We would like to inform you that the Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness cashback benefits for AIA Vitality members will end on 31 October 2022 (or the next 12 months). The details of the updates are as follows.

A)    Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness members with an existing contract or a new contract effective on or before 31 October 2021:

  1. Get a 10% discount on the annual membership fee for the AIA Full Access Privilege package or a 50% discount on the AIA Weekend Privilege package.

  2. For the AIA Full Access Privilege package, AIA Vitality members will receive up to 30% status-based cashback until 31 October 2022 even if you have chosen to freeze the fitness contract (freeze account) or the fitness is temporarily closed e.g. closed due to the government announcement.

  3. Cashback is calculated based on AIA Vitality status as of the 25th of each month (or the next business day if the 25th is a public holiday.)

  • Platinum status receives 30% cashback

  • Gold status receives 20% cashback

  • Silver status receives 10% cashback

B)    Fitness First and Celebrity Fitness members with a new contract, effective on or after 1 November 2021 onwards:

  1. Get a 10% discount on the annual membership fee for the AIA Full Access Privilege package or a 50% discount on the AIA Weekend Privilege package.

  2. No status-based cashback.

If after 31 October 2022, you still have a fitness contract with Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness, you will continue to receive a membership fee discount throughout the fitness contract period but will not receive cashback in any circumstances.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I continue to earn Vitality points for exercising at Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness?
A: AIA Vitality members can earn points from work out at Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness regardless of the fitness package contract. Please inform the fitness staff to link your fitness membership with AIA Vitality membership to earn up to 100 exercise points/day and up to 15,000 exercise points/membership year from all exercise activities.

Q: Will Fitness First members with other packages continue to receive the same discount benefits?
A: Fitness First members with other AIA Vitality privilege packages will continue to receive the discount as stated in the Fitness First contract e.g. 50% discount on AIA Weekend Privilege

Q: If I pause my fitness contract or the fitness is temporarily closed e.g. closed due to the government order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, will my fitness membership contract period be extended? Will this affect the status-based cashback benefit?
A: Freezing your membership contract (freeze account) by any means will result in an extension of the 12-month fitness contract. After 31 October 2022, AIA Vitality members with the AIA Full Access Privilege package with Fitness First and a contract with Celebrity Fitness will receive a 10% discount, but not the Vitality status-based cashback.
