AIA Vitality Travel Rewards

Required documents:

1. A hotel room booking confirmation email from the hotel or the travel agency website/application that contains the booking date, the intended staying period, and your full name as a guest.

2. A receipt/tax invoice issued by the hotel at check-out with your name.

3. In the case that you reserve rooms through agents such as Agoda, Booking, Expedia or tour companies, and did not receive a receipt directly from the hotel, you must submit evidence of payment, such as a money transfer slip or credit card statement with the amount paid for the hotel accommodation instead.

Documents for requesting a cashback must be in Thai or English only. Documents in other languages ​​cannot be used to request a cashback in all cases.

Terms and conditions:

• You must be an AIA Vitality Plus member at the time of booking and receiving cashback.

• You must book the room via a hotel or travel agency website/application with a confirmation email or document issued to you on the date the booking was made.

• Cashback will apply to a maximum of 4 bookings per membership year, up to 600 baht cashback per booking per receipt, totaling up to 2,400 baht for 4 receipts per membership year.

• Count the number of times the right is used based on the booking date. For example, if a member books accommodations in the current membership year but stays during the next membership year, it will be considered that the member has used the right once in the current membership year. There are still 4 rights remaining for the next membership year.

• Status-based cashback will be calculated as a percentage of the actual cost of the stay and depends on your AIA Vitality status on the booking date, not exceeding the maximum amount specified.

  For example:

  • Member A, Gold status, stays in a hotel with a total accommodation cost of 1,200 baht, will receive a cashback of 20% or 240 baht.

  • Member B, Gold status, stays in a hotel with a total accommodation cost of 3,000 baht, will receive a cashback of 20% or 600 baht, but the maximum cashback for Gold status is 400 baht. Member B therefore receives a total cashback of 400 baht.

• Your name must be listed as a hotel guest to claim the reward and you must submit the documents within 30 days after check-out. Limit 1 receipt per 1 room per 1 booking per 1 AIA Vitality Plus member. If more than 1 AIA Vitality Plus member submitted the same receipt, the reward will be paid to the first member who submitted completed documents. (A receipt can be redeemed for a cashback once.)

• Cashback will be transferred to your bank account linked to AIAPAY within 45 business days from the date of receiving all documents. Your status-based cashback will be calculated based on your Vitality status on the date of booking, not the date of stay or request for cashback, from the actual payment amount. Cashback excluding value added tax, hotel taxes, city tax, service charges, any other incidental/administrative fees, and any extra costs from booking modification.

• Some hotels may have supplement charges or compulsory charges due to special events, public holidays, or special holidays. Hotels in some countries may charge you additional fees such as resort fees, facility fees, amenity fees or destination fees. Cashback will not be applied to these additional charges. • You will not receive cashback for a booking that has been cancelled.

• If the AIA Vitality Plus member has not paid the AIA Vitality Plus premium in the current membership year, AIA Vitality reserves the right not to pay for this benefit.

• Employees of AIA and AIA’s subsidiaries are not eligible for the AIA Vitality Travel Rewards.
